I am one for supporting smaller local companies rather than the larger chain companies. I found Kennelly’s Autos while searching for local used cars. In my search I was looking for a safe, dependable, and economical vehicle for commuting. I am very pleased that their name was among my search for local dealerships in Renton. No pressure from any of the sale guys. I opted not to test drive any of the cars that interest me, rather I had the sales associate chauffer me around. Odd yes, but this allowed me to play with & see everything inside the interior of the vehicle and actually pay attention to how the vehicle felt. Financing was going to be a challenge with my credit and they were up for the challenge and were able to make it happen. I would highly recommend Kennelly’s to anyone. My impression of the guys at Kennelly’s Auto was: a bunch of guys doing what they love to do rather than looking at retirement. Lucky for me.
A really fun place to get a car. Ask for mike or larry they took real care of me. I have purchased 2 cars from renton auto mart in the past 3 years. I would recommend them to my family and friends. A really good place to get a really good used car :)
One of our friends bought an older 200000 mile Focus there about a year ago and the very next day the transmission went out. She had signed an as is statement so legally she had no grounds for any recourse. She called and talked to Larry the one who sold it to her and Barry Kennelly the owner and they told her to come in and pick up a loaner car to drive. They then at their expense had the car towed to a transmission shop and a new transmission was put in without costing my lady friend a dime! So I watched their website and recently my wife and I purchased a used Kia in excellant shape. Most of their cars are not auction purchases but trade ins at new car dealerships in the Renton area. They offered us a Carfax and showed us their safety inspection. These are quality guys at a laid back location and I highly reccomend them to anyone!
My wife and I bought a used car from Mike at Kennelly's Renton Auto Mart. Throughout, the experience was great.We were told everything upfront about the car very honestly and frank. When we got it inspected by a third party, there were no surprises. Then, when it came time to negotiate the sale, they were flexible and light-hearted. We drove away happy with our purchase, and with the experience overall. I've dealt with bullies, tricksters, and careless/unconcerned salesman, but not here. It was like you'd expect buying a car from a friend should go. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

I traded in my 2002 Ford Escape for a 2007 Kia Spectra. I received courteous, professional and pleasant service. One aspect of my experience that I am most happy with, and other dealerships were failing to provide was the value of my trade in. I was given a favorable trade-in value for my Ford Escape. I have owned my Kia Spectra for approxiamtely a year now and other than the quarterly oil changes, wiper blades and a head light I have had no issues at all. They even re-charged my air conditioning unit for FREE and I had owned the car over 9 months. I am very happy with the service, the vehicle and the financing options that were provided to me. When I am in the market for another vehicle I will definatley return to Kennelly's Renton Auto Mart. I would have no problem referring my mother or my sister there as well.
Ok so this my first review ever and i made an account JUST for this occasion.....I cant say enough for what these people at Kennelly's have done for me. We had high expectations for a car we saw on the internet and it looked even better in person. When we got there we weren't being suffocated by overeager car salesman, in fact they were very understanding of our space and our time. They listened to our story about our car breaking down, and these people did anything they could to get us a GREAT car in the bad financial situation we were in. I'm so thankful for the people here because if it wasn't for their tendency to care and trust us we would still be desperately searching..I HIGHLY recommend this to ANYBODY who wants a great experience buying a car!
